-The Consumer Affairs Agency (CAA) has deleted 30 existing additives from "the Existing Additives List".
-In this regard, "Specifications and Standards for Foods, Food Additives, etc." under the Food Sanitation Act has been amended, which includes the following points:
　　･Revision of "Specification" for MANNENTAKE extract, where source plant other than carpophore have been excluded.
　　･Removal of "Standard for Use"　with respect to Guaiac Resin and to Vermiculite.
