C. REAGENTS, SOLUTIONS, AND OTHER REFERENCES MATERIALS
Unless otherwise specified, reagents, test solutions, volumetric solutions, standard solutions, reference standards, thermometers, filter papers, filters, sieves, Bertrand table, and Reference Infrared Absorption Spectra used for testing are those indicated in the following sections.
The reagent to which the terms, "Standard reagent," "Guaranteed," "Extra grade," "for pH determination," and "for arsenic analysis" are appended conforms to the specifications for primary standard substances for volumetric determination, guaranteed reagents, extra pure reagents, reagents for pH determination, and reagents for arsenic analysis, respectively, in the Japanese Industrial Standards for Reagents. When the name of a substance used in this publication differs from that of the same substance used in the Japanese Industrial Standards, the latter is appended to the former.
To store reagents, test solutions, volumetric solutions, and standard solutions, use glass containers with extremely low solubility and alkalinity and with the lowest possible contents of lead and arsenic.
